Tianjin Yuantai Derun Pipe Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., established in March 2002, is the biggest manufacturer specializing in  ERW square&rectangular tube/pipe, hollow section structure pipe, galvanized pipe and spiral welding pipe in China. Annual output reaches 5 million tons.Yuantai Derun has 59 production lines of black ERW pipe, 10 production lines of galvanized pipe and 3 production lines of spiral welding pipe. Square pipe from 20*20*1mm to 500*500*40mm, rectangular pipe from 20*30*1.2mm to 400*600*40mm,  welded pipe from 2”—60” can be manufactured. Yuantai Derun can manufacture square rectangular pipes as per the standards of ASTM A500, JIS G3466, EN10219, DIN2240, BS1387, AS1163.

A square metal tube is a light thin-walled hollow square section steel pipe, also known as a steel cold bending section. The base material is Q235 hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip or coil, which is formed by cold bending and then high-frequency welding. In addition to the thickening of the hot-rolled extra-thick-walled square metal tube's wall thickness, its corner size and edge straightness have reached or even exceeded the level of the resistance-welded cold-formed square tube. It has excellent overall mechanical properties, weldability, cold and hot working properties, corrosion resistance, and low-temperature toughness.

The performance of the square metal tube

1. Pliability The ability of metal materials to produce plastic deformation (permanent deformation) under load without damage is referred to as plasticity.

2. Durability The hardness of a metal material is measured using hardness. The indentation hardness method, which uses an indenter with a specific geometric shape to press into the surface of the tested metal material under a certain load and determines its hardness value based on the degree of indentation, is currently the most commonly used method for measuring hardness in production.

Commonly used methods include Brinell hardness (HB), Rockwell hardness (HRA, HRB, HRC) and Vickers hardness (HV).

3. Tiredness The mechanical properties of metals under static load are indicated by the strength, plasticity, and hardness discussed above. In fact, many machine parts are subjected to cyclic loading, which causes the part to fatigue.

4. Impact toughness, the high-speed load acting on the machine is known as impact load, and the ability of metal to resist damage under impact load is known as impact toughness.

5. Strength, the resistance of metal materials to damage (excessive plastic deformation or fracture) under static load is referred to as strength. Because the load's action takes the form of tension, compression, bending, shearing, and so on, the strength is also classified as tensile strength, compressive strength, bending strength, shear strength, and so on. There is frequently a relationship between various strengths, and tensile strength is the most basic strength indicator.
